So you've done your research and found a couple other websites that offer photo jewelry. Now you have to ask yourself why should I buy from one over the other? It's a great question! In this economy we all want to get the most out of our money so making the right choice with how we spend that money is imperative!!!!
At Sassi Memories we have been "redefining the jewel in jewelry" TM for over six years now! We sell to the everyday customer and to the professional photographer alike. We consider this more than just a hobby! Our experience with professional photographers has taught us that we need to have the utmost attention to detail in every piece that we make. The photos that we use on our pieces are not printed on a home photo printer - they are printed on a lab quality printer. As a result the images that we use are of a much higher quality than the typical home photo printer can produce.
Getting the piece just right can be a tedious process. Some times we find ourselves remaking a piece one or two times to ensure that it looks just right. Bubbles and Blemishes in the finished product can be common and by taking the time to ensure they are removed is a step that many of our competitors are not willing to take.
The process that we use differs from our competitors. First, we don't require a beveled edge. Almost all of our competitors have to use jewelry that has a beveled edge...a sort of frame around the piece itself. This is to ensure the epoxy they are using does not run outside of the intended area. After six years of making photo jewelry we have perfected the process and do not require beveled edges. Second, over time the pieces produced from our competitors will yellow, rendering the once beautiful piece of jewelry, useless. Our pieces will not yellow. In fact, we have had several pieces made by competitors shipped to us so that we could remake them using our process. Finally, the quality of jewelry on Sassi Memories is much higher than what you find elsewhere. Almost all of our pieces are Sterling Silver and are quite stunning by themselves.
We also stand behind our product. If you have an issue with your finished piece, that is not due to normal wear and tear, send it back to us and we will fix it. Most of our pieces showcase a loved one of one sort or another - most of the time said loved one is a child. The funny thing about kids is...they grow. For a minimal fee, we offer the ability for you to send back your piece and have it updated with a new photo. This has been a popular service as it precludes you from having to purchase another piece.
